VISTARA Airlines, only the second full service carrier of the country will be launching its maiden International long haul flight to London from its Delhi base, with its brand new Dreamliner aircraft.
The TATA-Singapore Airlines JV airline will operating this route as part of the Vande Bharat Mission mode routes created by Government of India, in an innovative Air bubble agreements with partner countries where Indian Diaspora is living.
Government of India had created Air bubble pacts with US, UK, France, Germany, UAE,Qatar and Oman to repatriate NRI’s stranded in those countries. VISTARA is also negotiating with Indian regulator-DGCA for Delhi-Paris route as well, for which the modalities are yet to be in place.
Air India had been ferrying the passengers since early May as part of the Vande Bharat Mission and recently joined by Spicejet with its long haul operations to Amsterdam and Toronto. Vistara will be the second private sector airline to operate long haul routes. for the record, Indigo had been operating medium haul flights to the Arabian Gulf.
